Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in Grenada Unveils New Amenities
There was minimal to no damage to yachts and marina facilities at Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina in Grenada following Hurricane Beryl in early July. In fact, the marina, its staff, and cruisers teamed up to support the devastated communities to the north in Carriacou. Looking ahead, the marina has several exciting updates to share.
New Swimming Pool and Deck Area
The marina has introduced a fabulous new swimming pool with a large deck area. “While details like shade are still in progress, the chairs, loungers, and cushions are now out, and the pool itself has been a total win with all our guests,” says Zara Tremlett, CMM, general manager of Camper & Nicholsons Port Louis Marina.
Diesel and Petroleum Service Expansion
The marina has also formed a joint venture with Sol Petroleum to install diesel fuel services on the “S” Docks and near the marina office. Some areas have already seen the installation of future service ‘pits’ and pipe runs, which aim to minimize disruption during the busy high season. Once complete, the marina will offer diesel and petroleum services, including duty-free and locally priced options.
New Beach Club Development
Marina neighbors JDC II, part of the Silversands brand, have developed a ‘Beach Club’ style complex adjacent to the Port Louis Superyacht Docks. Tremlett adds, “This facility will add even more value for our guests, offering additional amenities during their stay.”
Looking Forward to Future Enhancements
“We at Port Louis Marina are excited about these new additions and how they will improve our guests’ experience,” says Tremlett. Landscaping efforts are also underway to complement the new facilities, with additional work planned after the next phase of fuel installations is complete.
