Re: Heavyweight boxing a joke

His wins were all very much run of the mill since then against opponents he should be beating comfortably.
Saturday was his first proper test since and let's be honest he was beaten up.

Agreed this was meant to be the new improved Joshua mk3 or 4, 5 ?
In truth this was his first competitive fight for a couple of years in this keep me active rebuild .
He looked nervous almost lost, and despite the talk (his own) of Dubois coming out fast , it seemed he wanted to build into the fight .Of course Dubois did come flying out of traps and apart from 5 secs in round 5 it was a one sided beat down.
He ( Joshua) had his chin up in the air , a poor jab , he was leaning back from punches , feinting with his hands down especially his lead left hand, and throwing big punches without any set up.I think it is time to retire and enjoy his dough. He looked like an opponent in there.

The talk of him winning the return by fan boys ( some on this thread ) is nonsense .I see there is no rematch clause now,and he won't be seeking a rematch .Which is good as i can only see the same result .He'll go on i expect ,Eddie will match him with someone he can beat , and convince the public that this Joshua mk 6.5 .They'll be lots of people who'll pay to watch him .Not me though i haven't watched him fight live since he beat a 40 something Vladimir Klitschko.
