Greenville Day festival celebrates 18 years Friday, Saturday
GREENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A two-day festival to celebrate the Greenville community is set to kick off this weekend. The community inspired event will feature family activities and food at the George V. Vanderbilt Park, both Friday Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28.
This year's event will feature inflatable rides, a foam party, a petting zoo, hayrides and even a firework display on Saturday. The event will also include live music from the One Heart Band, Julie & the Cruise Directors and the Shannon Roy Band, and food trucks from a variety of businesses.
The festival is not only just for games, food or music. Attendees can also purchase gifts in the tent craft fair and business expo or through the town-wide yard sale.
Greenville Day will start at 4 p.m. on Friday and at noon on Saturday. The event is free but there is a $5 cash parking fee.

Friday, Sept. 27:
- 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Inflatable Rides
- 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Craft Fair/Expo
- 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Free hot dogs for kids
- 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Community Group shows
- 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Foam Party
Saturday, Sept. 28:
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Town yard sale
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Greenville Library book sale
- Noon to 7 p.m.: Rides and games
- Noon to 5 p.m.: Pony Rides
- Noon to 6:30 p.m.: Craft Fair/Expo
- Noon to 7 p.m.: Food trucks
- Noon to 5 p.m.: Hayrides
- 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Sheriff Dog and Drone Demo
- 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Reptile Expo
- 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Birds of Prey Expo
- 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Foam Party
- 7:15 p.m. to dark: Fireworks
