Mechanicville man convicted on drug, gun charges
MECHANICVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Mechanicville man was convicted on drug and gun charges.
Charles Brennan, 45, was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, two counts of distributing methamphetamine, possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
Prosecutors said Brennan was part of a drug conspiracy between July and September 2022 where he was found with nine grams of pure meth, drug paraphernalia, eight guns, and ammo, including a pistol with an altered serial number. Officials said he distributed meth two times from his Mechanicville home.
Brennan faces five to 40 years in prison when he is sentenced in January.
