President Joe Biden recognized the UAE as a major defense partner of the U.S. after talks with its president on the Gaza war and Middle East instability. They called for urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza and committed to a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. Cooperation on space, clean energy, and AI was also discussed.
