Tottenham player scores his ninth goal of the season out on loan
Yang Min-Hyuk scored for Gangwon FC in their clash against Pohang Stealers on Sunday, thus taking his tally for the K-League season to nine goals so far.
Yang will join Tottenham in January
Tottenham secured Yang’s services back in the summer, with the signing catching people completely off guard. The Lilywhites decided to bet on the 18-year-old on the back of just a few good months in the K-League.
The attacker will continue at Gangwon FC for the rest of the K-League season before arriving at Hotspur Way in January, and so far, Spurs’ decision looks to be an inspired one as the youngster is continuing to impress back in Korea.
It was reported by GiveMeSport earlier this month that Tottenham are quite confident that the teenager will develop into a special talent, with key figures at the club adamant that the deal will prove to be a major bargain.
Nine goals and five assists for Yang Min-hyuk
Yang is certainly showing no signs of slowing down, with the forward sneaking in at the far post to produce a smart finish on Sunday to equalise for his side.
However, Gangwon had to come away from the game empty-handed as Pohang Stealers then netted a stoppage-time winner.
The Tottenham man’s latest strike means that he now has nine goals and five assists to his name in his first season in the K-League.

Apart from his pace and his ball-carrying ability, Yang also continues to show a natural eye for goal, seeming quite adept at finding space for himself in the box.
That is an impressive attribute to have at such a young age and I’m sure having six months in training with the Spurs first-team from January will do him the world of good.
