Wigan Today reporting that the club's average attendances have increased to 14,909 (up nearly 1,500) on last season.
I think a lot of focus has been to bring in more youngsters over the last couple of seasons, whether that be through Rugby Camps, Amateur Clubs, Community...etc (as seen these last few games with a good few hundred kids on the pitch as the teams walk out, holding the club flag badges). Great idea as I'm sure it was calculated a few years ago that Wigan had the oldest average fanbase.
