‘America’s Got Talent’ winner predictions: Roni Sagi and Rhythm would be 3rd dog act to prevail on ‘AGT’
“America’s Got Talent” has gone to the dogs.
Last summer, Adrian Stoica and Hurricane beat the odds to win Season 18 of “AGT,” more than a decade after Olate Dogs first barked their way to a victory in Season 7. Now in Season 19, Roni Sagi and Rhythm are hoping to become the third dog act to prevail in the nearly two-decade history of “America’s Got Talent.”
The lovable duo competed last week alongside the other nine finalists — air-dance group AIRFOOTWORKS, dance crew Brent Street, singer Dee Dee Simon, acrobatic group Hakuna Matata Acrobats, comedian Learnmore Jonasi, singer Richard Goodall, aerial duo Sebastián & Sonia, quick-change artist Solange Kardinaly, and drone group Sky Elements — during the Finals performance show.
According to Gold Derby’s winner predictions, Richard Goodall has leading 39/50 odds to prevail, while Sky Elements and Solange Kardinaly are tied for second place at 6/1 odds. There is then a three-way tie for fourth place between Roni Sagi and Rhythm, AIRFOOTWORKS and Dee Dee Simon, all at 28/1 odds.

Last week on “AGT,” Roni Sagi and Rhythm kept the audience on their toes with a classy performance set to the tune “Scars To Your Beautiful.” Unlike other dog acts out there, the human and canine in this routine don’t do regular tricks — instead, they become one as they dance together effortlessly on the big stage. As for the judges’ critiques, Simon Cowell referred to Roni Sagi and Rhythm’s final act as “perfection,” Heidi Klum revealed that “his little paw steps melt [her] heart,” Sofia Vergara begged for the trainer to “just give” the dog to her, and Howie Mandel proudly declared, “That dog is actually dancing.”
Note that the grand finale will take place on Tuesday, September 24 on NBC. That night, the following celebrities are scheduled to make appearances: Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles & the Gold Over America Tour, singer and “The Voice” coach Michael Bublé, guitarist Neal Schon alongside members of Journey, DJ and producer Steve Aoki, stand-up comedian Gabriel Iglesias, the cast of “Magic Mike Live Las Vegas,” singer and actress Andra Day, and former “AGT” act Detroit Youth Choir.
