Israel launches Pearl Harbour-type attack on Lebanon

BEIRUT, Lebanon - Israel has declared it is at war with Lebanon in a Pearl Harbour-type preemptive attack which has resulted in the carpet-bombing of more than 800 targets across the country, including the capital, Beirut.

356 people have been killed as this report is being filed, with the number wounded at least 1,246 according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. At least two dozen children and 42 women are among t
