I know its been done many times before... but a gentle reminder to not let your car insurance automatically renew...
Wife's little car :
Fully comp part was £180. Automatic renewal £315 = 75% increase!!!
One five minute phone call - new price with 'retain' discount - £205 equating to a more palatable 14% increase and a figure in line with other insurers for 'new' business.
