K-12 curriculum must include more about Indigenous cultures, histories, says group First Light

A new report examining truth and reconciliation efforts in Newfoundland and Labrador looks at several areas, including what’s taught in schools. Justin Campbell, the director of research for First Light, says until there’s better knowledge of Indigenous culture, it’s harder to advance reconciliation.
