Polygood Translucent collection panels by The Good Plastic Company
Dezeen Showroom: global materials brand The Good Plastic Company aimed to make recycled plastic lustrous and elegant with its Polygood Translucent panel collection, made from old CD cases.
Panels in the Polygood Translucent collection feature a wide array of colours and patterns, all of which build upon a near-transparent base that creates a play of light.
The panels are made from 100 per cent recycled plastic, with clear CD cases forming the crystalline base and colourful waste products such as industrial tubes, acoustic panels and single-use cutlery providing the accents.
The Good Plastic Company says the panels are ideal for creating wall accents, backlit reception areas, furniture and statement pieces, and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
The Polygood Translucent collection is Cradle to Cradle and EPD certified. The Good Plastic Company operates a free take-back programme to make use of unwanted panels at the end of their life.
"This collection embodies our vision perfectly, offering our customers sustainable options that are both functional and visually stunning," said The Good Plastic Company founder William Chizhovsky.
