Retail sector grows at 2% YoY again, as per RAI

The retail sector in India grew by 2% year-on-year in August 2024, according to the Retailers Association of India. While north and south India saw a 3% growth, east and west reported 1%. Food and grocery led with a 7% increase, followed by jewellery at 5%. Some categories experienced negative growth.
