Summer-Like to Start Week but Cooler Weather is Coming

The second day of Fall in Acadiana will feel closer to summer with high heat and humidity. Temperatures are in the low to mid 70s this morning and are expected to climb into the lower 90s during the afternoon. A 92° high will feel closer to the low 100s during the hottest part of the day. Also, a few pop up showers or storms are possible after lunchtime.

We are tracking a cold front that should arrive late Wednesday. Cooler, breezy, and less humid weather is in the forecast for Thursday through Saturday.
