India's biggest oil, gas bid round gets 4 bidders; Reliance-bp-ONGC bid together

India's largest oil and gas bid round saw four bidders, including ONGC, OIL, Vedanta Ltd, and Reliance-bp plc. Most blocks received two bids each. Reliance-bp teamed up with ONGC for the first time to bid for a block in Gujarat offshore. The round offered 28 blocks covering 1.36 lakh square kilometers.
