Tata Power-DDL gets patent for transformer life-enhancing device

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd has been granted a 20-year patent for its self-regenerating transformer breather. This device protects transformers from moisture, extending their lifespan and reducing maintenance needs. The technology uses waste heat to minimize moisture, requiring less frequent silica gel replacement compared to conventional designs.
