Santander app down UPDATES: Hundreds of users report outages at bank

MORE than two thousand Santander users are reporting outages this morning after the bank’s app crashed.

The main issue is with those trying to access the mobile app – 94 per cent – with the other six per cent experiencing issues with personal log-ins and payments, according to Downdetector.

Santander offers current accounts, savings, investments, loans, credit cards and other financial products.

One user wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Cheers Santander, I can’t access online banking or pay for anything with my card because it’s app is down, I’m hoping the cash point is working otherwise I ain’t getting to work anytime soon.”

A Santander spokesperson said: “We’re very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing, and we are working hard to fix the problem as soon as possible.”
