Hyderabad authorities crack down on illegal constructions in lake buffer zones

The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has launched a demolition drive targeting illegal structures on city lakes' full tank levels and buffer zones. The operation aims to reclaim government land and preserve water bodies, with several commercial structures already demolished in Kukatpally and Ameenpur, restoring 8 acres of land so far.
