Woman arrested in connection to fatal stabbing in the Bronx: NYPD
MOTT HAVEN, Bronx (PIX11) -- A woman is facing murder charges after a 36-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the Bronx Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 4:14 a.m. near Lincoln Avenue and East 132nd Street.
Officers responded to a 911 call and located the victim, Joshua Johnson, with a laceration to the leg, police said. Johnson was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations resulted in the arrest of Karlene Payne, 31. Payne was apprehended at 12:40 p.m. on murder and manslaughter charges, police said.
