Iconic Tupperware Brands seeks Chapter 11 bankruptcy

NEW YORK CITY, New York: Tupperware Brands, the company that revolutionized food storage globally decades ago, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

Tupperware, based in Orlando, Florida, said just before midnight on September 17 that it will continue to operate during the bankruptcy proceedings and seek court approval for a sale "to protect its iconic brand."
