MCDONALD’S Monopoly is back – and not everyone has been overjoyed with their prizes.

One Maccies fan showed how they were baffled after winning a giant themed bean bag in the nationwide competition.

TikTok user @emilylowe000 showed how they were when they had won a prize at the fast food joint.

Turning around the ticket, they showed how they discovered they had snapped up the bean bag.

Emily then revealed the large bean bag that arrived, which appeared to be themed on their Big Mac burger.

The bold design had a repeating pattern of lettuce, cheese, patties and buns – and certainly would stand out in a room.

Emily didn’t seem quite sure what to make of the unusual item, and wrote: “Not sure this is a win if I’m honest.”

However, it did seem to go down well with some followers.

One wrote: “I have never been more jealous in my entire life.”

Another added: “this is definitely a win.”

A third commented: “No way, my dream is to acquire a McDonalds bean bag.”

Meanwhile, some said she could sell it and may get up to £100 for it.

The annual game is very popular amongst fast-food fans and people have been trying to collect the McDonald’s Monopoly stickers.

As in previous years, the competition will run for six weeks, and is likely to end on October 16.

Among the top prizes this year is £100,000 in cash for five winners and there will be 2,000 “gold cards”, which give you a free Maccies meal a week for a year.

To win prizes in McDonald’s Monopoly you need to check the game pieces on menu items.

Not all menu items are worth the same amount though.

Some food and drinks have up to three game pieces, some have two and others have zero.

Many people won’t be playing the Monopoly game or even bother to check the pieces they have, according to MoneySavingExpert.com.

If you spot empty packets or cups on tables, it’s worth checking to see if there is a tile you can use.

This practice is known as “wombling”, though it’s not always approved by companies, but millions of people do it across the country.
