Tia Mowry’s Shocking Admission About Her Bond With Twin Tamera Mowry Has the Internet Playing Detective

The twins that were thicker than thieves once upon a time, Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry, are seemingly not as close anymore, and fans keep asking, “Why?”

In a new trailer for Tia’s WeTV docuseries Tia Mowry: My Next Act via UsWeekly, Tia briefly talked about how she and her sister Tamera aren’t as close anymore.

“I’ve always wanted the family dynamic of having a mom and a dad in one household. When you’re dropping your kids off, you actually visually see how that is no longer. Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce,” she said. “It’s times like this when I feel and wish that my sister and I were still close and I could pick up the phone and call her, but that’s just not where we are right now.”

This small admission has the internet on fire, with many asking, “What happened to the twins’ bond?”

Many have sympathized with the twins, saying things like, “That’s actually sad, tbh. I can’t imagine not talking to my sisters, let alone if I had a twin,” and “I just fell to the floor; this is heartbreaking” on X, the app formerly known as Twitter.

Along with that, many have theorized that this new phase has everything to do with Mowry’s life changing. Tia is navigating a divorce and being a single mom, while Tamera has a very different lifestyle, which makes total sense.
