Viral video shows ‘stop colonising our country’ barb hurled at Indian family in this country

New Delhi: Indians have been migrating to other countries for many decades and the country that they adopted, they made immense contributions to its overall development. Today, the Indian diaspora is spread around the globe and doing their countries proud as well as India.

Amidst the celebration of this unique relationship between non-resident Indians and their adopted countries, a viral video has created a stir. The video shows an Indian family placing their nameplate on the front of their newly purchased home in Limerick, Ireland.

The video seems to be supposedly recorded by a native Irish person who has posted it on X. The X handle of the person is MichaeloKeeffe @Mick_O_Keeffe and the caption reads: “Limerick, Ireland Another house bought up by Indians. Our tiny island is being colonised by a country of 1.5 billion people.”

As was expected, the video has triggered a heated online debate with the users responding with different opinions.
