Incentives, local support at state level can boost biogas sector; states can save Rs 50K cr, says industry

The Indian Biogas Association suggests that state governments can promote the biogas sector by offering financial incentives, easy access to credit, and local support. This could save up to Rs 50,000 crore through waste management, pollution reduction, and health improvements. States like Uttar Pradesh are already providing additional subsidies for biogas projects.
