'Most trusted' Harris adviser makes 'surprising' prediction about Trump race shake up

One of Vice President Kamala Harris' "most trusted" senior advisors has a shocking prediction for a campaign shake up against Donald Trump.

Harris campaign senior adviser for communications Brian Fallon revealed some of his predictions in an interview with Politico.

According to the outlet, Fallon recently gave an interview with the Playbook Deep Dive podcast in which he "laid out how the Harris campaign was approaching the final sprint to the election, including its efforts to overtake Donald Trump on the issue of the economy and why he thought there might still be one more presidential debate."

"Fallon also suggested that Harris might make some moves in a bid to cut into Trump’s strong support among young men," Politico reported on Saturday.

“Without previewing any particular shows or outlets that we may end up appearing on,” Fallon said, according to the outlet. “I think it’s fair to say that we are going to take an all-of-the-above approach to her appearances, because we think that there’s all kinds of different audiences that are very open to learning more about her.”

More specifically, Fallon made a prediction as to how Harris might undercut Trump in the minds of the voters. Right now, polls suggest most voters trust Trump more than the V.P. when it comes to the issue of the economy.

"Well, I will make a prediction. I think that it’s quite possible that by the end of this election cycle that she will be more trusted than Trump on handling the economy," Fallon said, according to Politico's excerpt.

He continued, saying:

"Well, there’s a lot of indicators already that she is narrowing the gap, if not running even with him, according to some polls. She polls very strongly among likely voters on that question. And people are still getting to know her. And the benefit that we have is the upside potential with her. The more that voters get to know about her background and her plans, the more they like her. Whereas with Trump, the more that they’re reminded about what his presidency was like, the more that they’re reminded about how extreme some of his future plans are and what the Project 2025 Agenda would do."

Fallon also predicted that the candidates might engage in another debate, although Trump over the weekend poured cold water over that idea. Trump's critics then mocked the former president's reasoning.
