Man fatally shot in Washington Park

A man was shot and killed in Washington Park on Saturday, police said.

The man, 29, was in the 5700 block of South Prairie Avenue about 11 a.m. when someone stepped out of a black SUV and fired shots, striking him multiple times in the body, Chicago police said.

He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No one is in custody, and detectives are investigating.
