How Israel's 1996 mobile bomb strategy paved the way for pager bombs in Lebanon

On October 19, 1994, a bombing on Tel Aviv’s Route No. 5 killed 21 people and injured 50. The attack was carried out by Saleh Abdel Rahim al-Souwi and planned by Yehiya Abdal-Tif-Ayyash. Yehiya was later killed in 1996 by an explosive device planted in his cell phone by Israeli intelligence.
