CNN guest cracks up himself and host reacting to Kamala Harris' response to Oprah Winfrey
A prominent political analyst brought a moment of levity to CNN on Friday night as he made himself and the fill-in host chuckle over a clip of Harris saying she's a gun owner — and will use it if someone breaks into her home.
Van Jones joined "The Source" on Friday night to discuss a clip of Vice President Kamala Harris laughing during an interview with media mogul Oprah Winfrey, in which Harris laughs as she flattened attacks that she and running mate Tim Walz will take peoples' guns away.
"I'm a gun owner," said Harris. "Tim Walz is a gun owner."
"I did not know that!" exclaims Winfrey, to laughs from the audience.
"If somebody breaks into my house they're getting shot," Harris said, making herself and Winfrey laugh. "I probably should not have said that. My staff will deal with that later."

Reacting to the clip, Jones can't help but laugh.
"And that's also Kamala Harris," he said, making himself and fill-in-host Boris Sanchez chuckle. "I mean, I've known Kamala for 25 years. And listen I would advise you not to break into Kamala Harris' house. Don't do it!"
Jones said he "loves" that Harris is getting out there and talking, even if it's to Winfrey rather than a more mainstream journalist.
"That was a really fascinating interview and she let her guard down," he said. "That was Kamala Harris. She grew up in Oakland. Don't run up on her house. Do not run up on her house!"
