Nichelle Prince scores 1st goal with Current who clinch playoff spot with win over Spirit

Two-time Olympic medallist Nichelle Prince from Ajax, Ont., scored her first goal with Kansas City in the fourth minute against the Washington Spirit and the Current went on to win by a final score of 3-0 to secure a spot in the 2024 NWSL Playoffs. The Canadian international forward was traded from the Houston Dash to K.C. at the start of this year in exchange for forward Cece Kizer and an international slot for 2024.
