What Normani, Hannah Traore, and Yseult Wore This Week
Fashion Month is still underway, though this time, we’re catching looks from the European shows in London and Milan. Back in New York, we’re celebrating the start of fall and, in my opinion, the best time to get dressed. Some of the best looks this week came from French singer Yseult, gallerist Hannah Traore, singer Normani, and more. Below, what your favorite celebrities have worn this week.
Best Dressed: Yseult
French singer and model Yseult is always wearing bold and new looks, like this custom Acne Studios look she wore while on Jimmy Fallon.
Best Dressed Runner-Up: Jayda Nalamlieng
This open-chested black gown is perfect for an evening out, which Nalamlieng wore at the Parfums de Marly Palatine cocktail party.
Most on Theme: Normani
Normani performed at the UGG x Wonderland event during London Fashion Week, very much looking the part in this fur coat and knee-high UGG boots.
Best Tastemaker: Hannah Traore
Traore always looks chic, but this all-beige look she wore out to an Hermès breakfast celebrating its latest fragrance, Barénia, is especially well-styled and well-suited for the fall weather.
Best Details: Brooke Wise
I love a dress that has a playful detail, like Wise’s geese gown that she wore for the premiere party for Mejuri and Gia Coppola’s A New York Minute at Sing Sing in lower Manhattan.
Best Glam: Vanessa Williams
Williams proves that the perfect match to this red blazer is some sleek black pumps, which she wore to the opening reception of “Edges of Ailey” at the Whitney Museum.
Best Linkup: Céline Semaan and Amanda Seales
This duo wore beautiful and bright dresses to celebrate the new book A Woman Is a School.
Best Styling: Vivian Li
Li paired her colorful Chopova Lowena skirt with a simple navy-blue cardigan for a fun styling moment at the Silk Laundry cocktail party announcing its Soho pop-up and latest collection, Golden Ratio.
Best Group: Vince Skelly, Emilie Cotter, and Alex Tieghi-Walker
Tiwa Select gallery founder Alex Tieghi-Walker and chief marketing officer of Audi Emilie Cotter celebrated the opening of artist Vince Skelly’s latest work with a dinner in the Catskills, featuring heirloom tomatoes, sheftalia, and beets from a local farm. To finish the night, guests made s’mores by the fire and were driven home in Audi’s fully electric Audi Q8 e-trons.
Best Risk-Taker: Ronke Bamisedun
Ronke Bamisedun played with texture and proportions at the Grace to Do It All brunch, hosted by Andrea Iyamah and Laura Mercier, in a bold black look I can’t stop thinking about.
Most New York: Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart
New York Knicks players Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart celebrate the launch of Macy’s new streetwear line, Mode of One.
