Canada pledges CAD 250,000 to support food, animal and plant health standards

Canada is contributing CAD 250,000 (approximately CHF 158,000) to the Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF) in 2024 to support sustainable economic growth, poverty reduction and food security. The donation will help developing economies and least-developed countries (LDCs) improve their sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) capacity and participate more actively in global trade.
