Eva Mendes Explains Why She Felt 'Lost' After Welcoming Her 2 Kids - Watch Now
Eva Mendes is opening up about becoming a mom.
The 50-year-old Hitch actress – who shares daughters Esmeralda, 10, and Amada, 8, with partner Ryan Gosling – appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday (Sept. 19).
During the interview, Eva and Drew, 49, talked about feeling “lost” after welcoming their kids.
Keep reading to find out more…“I felt a little lost when I had kids in the sense where I was like, I don’t really know how to do that job and be other people. What was it for you, may I ask?” asked Drew, who is mom to daughters Olive, 11, and Frankie, 10.
“Yeah, I felt, I actually didn’t feel lost. I felt very clear but then I felt lost, if that makes sense,” Eva responded. “Then when it was like the cliche of like, ok, well, who am I now after, you know, the kids can survive on their own?”
“I mean, they’re only 8 and 10 but you know what I mean?” Eva continued. “They, they don’t need me every second, you know, it’s a little different. But I love talking to my girls about anything so I, I feel very fulfilled.”
In another recent interview, Eva addressed the possibility of returning to acting.
