City of Troy to begin paving September 25

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The city of Troy has announced that it will continue its intense paving program next week. There will be paving going on from September 25 to the 27.

Paving schedule

September 25

• Excelsior Avenue between Spring Avenue and Vista Avenue
• Central Avenue between Vista Avenue and Hills Landing
• Hills Landing from Central Avenue to the dead end

September 26

• Highpointe Drive between Oakwood Avenue and Farrell Road

September 27

• Intersection of Hoosick Street and River Street
• Front Street between Congress Street and State Street

The city asks all residents to follow the posted no parking signs, street closures, and detours. It also says that while the city does not want to tow any cars, it will do so if the cars impede the scheduled work.
