VIDEO: OHP troopers stop wrong-way driver on I-35

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released video of two troopers working together to stop a wrong-way driver on September 8.

According to OHP, Lieutenants Aaron Nickell and Eric Foster were traveling on I-35 near Norman just after midnight when they received a call about a driver traveling northbound on the inside shoulder of the southbound lanes.

Officials say the driver traveled at least six miles, all the way from Indian Hills Rd. to SE 82nd St.

The footage shows the troopers using their vehicles to keep the driver from leaving. They worked together to stop the driver before anyone got hurt.

The driver was arrested shortly after for impaired driving.
