Solar panel grants advice

A few people by me are worried about bills this winter so I suggested solar panels. I haven’t a clue about these things so I offered my services to them to find info on them.

Can people in the Birmingham area get grants to get them free eg low income households.?

I’ve tried searching it but I’m at a loss and totally confused.

These people have gas boilers already.
