DAFM Eventing Studbook Series Final

The final of the DAFM Eventing Studbook Series took place at the Eventing Ireland National championships in Kilguilkey, Cork over the 7th and 8th of September. The five, six and seven-year-old classes took place over the two days with the young horses completing the dressage and showjumping phases on the Saturday before cross country on the Sunday. The seven-year-old league was tight with four horses on equal points and in a tie for the win. Despite this, it was the final winner; Cavaliers Cruiz (ISH) ridden by Heidi Hamilton who came out on top of the league. The winning mare was bred in county Wexford by Thomas Norris and is by Cruisings Ambassador (ISH) out of Cavaliers Maid (ISH), by Ghareeb (GB).
