Use of AI in weapon systems 'morally repugnant', says UN secy general envoy

Amandeep Singh Gill, the UN secretary general's envoy on technology, said that the use of AI in the military was discussed in the advisory body on AI. He said use of AI in weapons technology is against the grain of existing obligations and international humanitarian law.
