Malaysia becomes China's No.2 crude oil supplier after Russia

China's crude oil imports from Malaysia increased by 31% in August, making it the second-largest supplier after Russia. This surge comes despite a broader trend of slowing Chinese imports. Imports from Saudi Arabia fell significantly, while Russian oil arrivals also saw a decline. China's total crude oil imports last month reached a year-high but continued to decline year-on-year.
