Omega Launches New Constellation For Ladies, Available in 20 Styles

Since its debut in 1952, the Constellation collection has symbolized Omega’s ideal of beauty and precision. With its distinctive bezel featuring the iconic claws and half-moon facets that blend seamlessly with the sleek case designs, this collection has stood out since 1982. Now, the Swiss watchmaker presents a new generation of ladies’ models, characterized by refined details that create a captivating interplay of light and shadow.

The allure begins with a highly polished case, complemented by a bezel set with pavé diamonds and either eleven or twelve diamond hour markers. However, the real star of these new timepieces is the dial, which features a sunburst pattern inspired by a supernova, created through a chemical etching process that radiates from the small Constellation star at six o’clock.

Omega offers these luxurious timepieces in a range of precious metals and sizes— 29 mm, 28 mm, and 25 mm— providing a total of 20 individual design options. The collection spans from classic stainless steel to Omega’s proprietary 18K Sedna Gold and 18K Moonshine Gold, as well as bi-color versions with striking contrasts.

The mechanical models in the new Constellation range are equipped with a sapphire crystal case back, showcasing the automatic Omega Caliber 8700 or 8701. These movements feature a Co-Axial escapement, silicon balance spring, and offer a power reserve of 50 hours. Certified as Master Chronometers by METAS, they are resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. The balance bridge and rotor are crafted from Sedna Gold and are adorned with Geneva waves in arabesque.

The quartz models feature a closed case back engraved with the Constellation Observatory medallion and do not include a date function.

The diversity of the new Constellation collection is also reflected in its price range, which varies depending on the choice of case and bracelet materials, as well as the selected caliber. Prices start at $7,300 for a stainless steel version with a leather strap and go up to $34,500 for the Moonshine Gold variant with a matching gold bracelet (pictured above).
