Starting pitcher Ryan Webb was outstanding. He allowed one run on two hits with one walk in 4 1⁄3 innings while striking out nine.

Akron got some excellent pitching, but the RubberDucks got dominated on the other side, managing just one hit on offense. Milan Tolentino had the only hit. Yordys Valdes, Kody Huff and Joe Lampe also walked.
Starting pitcher Austin Peterson was stellar, but one run allowed in 5 2⁄3 innings was enough to take a loss. He allowed five hits while striking out three and walking zero.

Lake County’s offense went off on Tuesday. Travis Bazzana did his thing as the leadoff hitter, setting the table properly by reaching base safely four times. He went 1-for-2 with three walks and a stolen base.
Angel Genao went 3-for-5 with two doubles.
