Milling, paving to begin on Old State Road in Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department announced that milling and paving of Old State Road in Albany will begin on Thursday at 9 a.m. The road work will be between the City Line at Guilderland east to Karner Road.
The road work will run from Thursday to Saturday. From Thursday to Friday the work will happen from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, the work will start at 6 a.m. and run until the contractor is finished.
There will be flaggers assisting with alternating one-way traffic on the road during the road work. Significant delays are expected and drivers should use alternate routes to avoid backups and delays.
