COXSACKIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Bronck Museum will ring in the fall season with its annual Hertiage Craft Fair on Oct. 6. The fair will run from noon to 4 p.m. at the Bronck Museum, 90 County Route 42.

Throughout the museum grounds, crafters will be offering a variety of traditional handmade goods, honey products, jams and more for purchase. The fair will also feature live music from bluegrass and country music band Running the River.

The Bronck Museum features Dutch Colonial houses and barns built by Pieter Bronck in the 1800s. The barns at Bronck Museum reflect the 276 years of agricultural practice changes. At the fair, guests can take self-guided tours through the grounds and visit the 13-sided hay barn, the oldest documented multisided barn in New York.

To showcase the history of Pieter Bronck and what he built, Pieter Bronck will be under the oak trees, giving away the drink he concocted over 300 years ago. Raffles, face paintings and a food truck will also be available for attendees.

The free event will take place in rain or shine. For more information on the event or to contact the museum, call 518-731-6490 or visit gchistory.org.
