Centre unlocks biometrics of over 9 lakh people affected during NRC in Assam, starts process of issuing Aadhaar cards

The Centre has unlocked the biometrics of over 9 lakh people affected during the NRC process in Assam, enabling them to receive Aadhaar cards. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that UIDAI is releasing biometrics for 9.35 lakh cases, with 5 lakh Aadhaar cards already generated and more to be dispatched soon.
