TechM Global Chess League 2024 - Games and Results

The Tech Mahindra Global Chess League takes place in Friends House, London, which is across the road from Euston Station, 3rd to 12th October 2024 starting at 1pm each day.

The league which had its inaugral event in Dubai is a rapid team event with just 20 minutes per player with no increment. Inspired by Indian cricket's IPL there are 6 teams with a mix of one legend, two superstar men, two superstar women and a prodigy.

The teams could not honestly be much stronger with the legends Magnus Carlsen (Alpine SG Pipers), Vishy Anand (Ganges Grandmasters), Hikaru Nakamura (American Gambits), Ian Nepomniachtchi (Triveni Continental Kings), Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (Mumba Masters) and Anish Giri (PBG Alaskan Knights) being backed up by players such as Praggnanandhaa, Arjun Erigaisi, Richard Rapport, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Teimour Radjabov, Alexander Grischuk, Hou Yifan, Tan Zhongyi and Wei Yi.
