ALTAMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Just last month, the Altamont Fairgrounds were a celebration of all things summer. This weekend, it transforms into the ultimate autumn experience, from a Haunted Farmhouse, to cider tastings and doughnuts.

The Harvest and Wine Festival takes place Saturday from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M.

Admission is $10 for age 16 and up, and free for age 15 and under. You can access the festival both days for $15. For a dollar off admission, you can bring a pet food item to donate to Animal Protective Foundation, Glenville, NY. It's a partnership with Steve Caporizzo's Pet Connection. Pets that are up for adoption will be available to meet at the festival, as well.

"We are all about agriculture and animals, and we thought that would be a great way to tie that all together," said fair manager Amy Anderson.
