Deputies arrest Rotterdam man on drug charges

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of a Rotterdam man for felony drug charges. Dustin Cole, 30, was arrested on Monday for four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies say they conducted a traffic stop in the area of Western Avenue and Arlene Avenue in Guilderland when the driver, Cole, was found to have about an ounce and a half of crack cocaine and 23 grams of MDMA. Law enforcement says these drugs were intended for distribution based on the weight and packaging.

Cole was transported to the Albany County Correctional Facility. He will be arraigned on Tuesday.
