Local history museum organizes ghost tour in October

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- The Saratoga Springs History Museum will host a ghost tour at Canfield Casino on Wednesday, Oct. 30. According to Travel Channel, Canfield Casino is ranked the fourth most terrifying place in America.

The casino has been investigated and featured on SYFY Network's Ghost Hunters. The tours have limited spots, are offered from 5 to 7 p.m., and depart every 20 minutes.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online through the Saratoga Springs History Museum website. The day before Halloween, participants will be immersed in ghost stories about the historic building, which will get them into the spooky spirit.

Museum Director James Parillo hopes the event attracts many for a unique and thrilling way to celebrate Halloween. "The combination of the Casino's rich history and its haunted reputation makes it a perfect destination for those looking for a spooky and memorable adventure," Parillo said.
