The New York Fashion Week spring collections have just finished, but the jewelry is still on my mind. From oversize silhouettes at Palomo Spain to nipple embellishments at Area, the accessories were the hero moments of many collections. See below for the top 15 jewelry moments to add to your SS25 moodboard.

1. Alaïa’s extremely long earrings

Is it an earring? Is it a necklace? Maybe it’s both. Only Pieter Mulier knows. Nevertheless, these chain necklaces suspended from the ears at Alaïa’s spring show at the Guggenheim are now at the top of my most-wanted list. They added a simple yet unexpected touch to a show that was otherwise bulbous and textured, which is exactly what I am looking for in jewelry.

2. Women’s History Museum’s tooth necklace

Women’s History Museum is a small New York City–based brand created by design duo Mattie Barringer and Amanda McGowan. They’ve quickly become known for their exciting, experimental designs, and this shark-tooth ensemble is the perfect example of that.

3. Area’s evil-eye necklace

Founded in 2014 by Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk, Area had its tenth-anniversary show this New York Fashion Week. To celebrate? A collection showcasing its outlandish designs. And nothing quite says “The devil is in the details” like matching your nipples to your necklace. Nipples aside, this evil-eye necklace will make any outfit look interesting, and as a bonus it can keep bad vibes away.

4. Coach’s long silver earrings

Coach showed for the first time on the Highline, showcasing lots of short dresses and oversize jackets. On some of the looks, it added these great chunky silver earrings.

5. Palomo Spain’s sculptural earrings

Palomo Spain showed in New York, and the sculptural 3-D jewelry was nothing short of wearable art.

6. Proenza Schouler’s necklace made for the sea

The inspiration of “sails” behind Proenza Schouler’s latest collection filtered all the way down to the details. This necklace would add a bit of color to any otherwise monotone look.

7. Maximalism at Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren’s accessories were the true star of this collection. These glamorous shell earrings are perfect for any occasion, seaside and beyond.

8. Willy Chavarría’s keychains

Willy Chavarría’s latest collection was a love letter to the American working class, specifically immigrants. Tailored looks inspired by working uniforms came out paired with keys (accented with a crucifix), exemplifying just how much power “jewelry” can hold.

9. Kim Shui’s floral adornment

Kim Shui knew what she was doing with these sculptural silver flowers adorning the neck. I could see myself wearing the piece with a simple black dress. This is the look.

Off-White’s earrings are all you need to elevate a look. I especially loved the rich red accents.

11. Sandy Liang’s girly choker

This hyperfemme sequin choker from Sandy Liang screams “main-character energy.” Plus, who doesn’t love to add a little sparkle to a look?

12. Luar’s simple gold earrings

Luar’s earrings are simple yet effective. I can see these becoming a new necessity for all downtown girls.

13. Collina Strada’s fairylike jewelry

Silver stars, spikes, and rhinestones are carefully crafted to bring Collina Strada’s fantasy-inspired world to life.

14. Tory Burch’s dangly earrings

Tory Burch showed her latest collection in a space transformed to look like a pool — teal tiles and all. These playful and vibrant earrings were hanging from most of the models’ ears.

15. Melitta Baumeister’s mouth necklace

Sometimes it’s not about the piece itself but about the way you wear it — or the attitude while doing so. Downtown favorite Melitta Baumeister sent models down the runway with necklaces worn in their mouths. It was humorous while simultaneously inspiring, opening up new ways to explore personal style.
