Milton woman charged with strangulation
MILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A woman was arrested in Milton on Saturday after an investigation into an altercation, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office. Jennifer Fraser, 41, of Milton, was charged with second-degree strangulation and endangering the welfare of a child.
On September 14 around 5 a.m., deputies responded to 885 Middle Line Road in Milton following a call for a welfare check. The ensuing investigation yielded that Fraser allegedly applied pressure to another person's throat with the intent of impeding the victim's breathing, causing them to fall unconscious.
Deputies say an eight-month-old child was reportedly present at the time of the incident. Fraser was taken into custody as a result of the investigation. She was arraigned at the Milton Town Court before being remanded to the Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail or bond.
