PAWLET, V.T. (NEWS10) -- Vermont State Police are continuing their investigation Monday into three suspicious deaths in Pawlet. According to police, officers responded to a phone call that lead them to a home where they found the three victims.

Police said they responded to a phone call of a "suspicious person" early Sunday morning. They found three people dead at a home on Route 133 in Pawlet on Sunday. Officers said the bodies were sent to the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Burlington for autopsies.

They have not yet released the cause of death or the names of the victims. In part of a press release, police said there is no threat to the community.

"Initial work by detectives indicates this was an isolated event with no identified threat to the community," said Adam Silverman, public information officer with Vermont State Police.

NEWS10 went to the scene on Monday and saw the Crime Scene Search Team, as well as Vermont State Police officers outside the home. One trooper on scene said they will be investigating at the home for as long as they need to.

There were also people nearby the home who did not want to speak with NEWS10.
